Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I bought this apartment just under two years ago and was desperately ready to finally make my mark on a place after years of renting.

I basically knew right away what I wanted to do and that I wanted books and art that I love to be right at the heart of the aesthetic.

I was really keen on white floors and walls, with all the color from plants, books, art and personal photos.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Personal touch meets Scandinavian minimalism

What is your favorite room and why? It must be the living room. It gets lots of light and I love sharing the room with all my books. I always wanted that.

Although I have to say this is my first apartment as I’ve lived in a studio in the past so that feeling of going to another room and closing the door to go to bed was very special for the first few weeks! I always feel safe here.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last thing I bought was a poster for a Chris Ware exhibition I went to at the Center Pompidou in Paris. It was only 8 euros and every time I look at it I am re-inspired by this amazing artist.

Any tips for creating a home you love? For me it was about thinking about the things I love. What do I want to surround myself with? What makes me happy? What kind of space do I need? Take your time, try things. Move things around and trust your own eyes. You will be happy wherever your eye rests!
